At Open Waqf, we believe your data belongs to you. Our software architecture is built on a "Zero-Knowledge" principle, meaning we do not track who you are or what you do.
1. No Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or sell your personal data. We do not use third-party analytics trackers (like Google Analytics) or advertising pixels in our apps.
- Wird: Dhikr counts and preferences stay on your device.
- Tahara: Health data is stored locally in your browser.
- Signer: Documents are processed entirely in browser memory.
- Lens: Scanned documents and OCR text never leave your physical device.
- Qari Finder: Audio captured is processed entirely in your browser memory.
2. Local Persistence
Your data is stored in your device's Local Storage, IndexedDB, or OPFS. This data is private to the application and is not shared with other websites or apps. If you clear your browser cache or uninstall the app, this data will be deleted unless you use the manual Backup features provided.
3. Server Logs
Our apps are hosted as static files. The hosting providers (e.g., GitHub/Cloudflare) may collect anonymous access logs (IP address, Timestamp) for security and anti-DDoS purposes. Open Waqf does not use this data to track or identify individuals.
4. Auditability
You can verify our privacy claims at any time by auditing our source code or contacting us:
